Who is Darryl Chamberlain? Chamberlain is a remarkable artist and extraordinary lecturer who brings the tales of African-American history to life as he shares often overlooked elements of American history.
You never know what you are going to get. Once you may be exploring an exciting element of African-American history and suddenly Chamberlain may take a short detour to share an exciting element from his 21 years experience in the semiconductor industry as an engineering technician.
Chamberlain's lectures are priceless! He is a strong advocate of higher learning and shares his passion for education with the students as he lectures. He may suddenly become enlightened and and share a poem or suddenly you are startled and then amazed as he may break into an old spiritual with his deep baritone voice.
Chamberlain is an accomplished singer and musician extraordinaire! He is a member of the Dallas chapter of the National Association of Negro Musicians and director of a local ensemble of musicians called The Chamberlain Ensemble. His musicians can be heard performing anything from Baroque to modern music.
Chamberlain composes orchestrations for a variety of organizations and purposes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. If you are lucky, Chamberlain may sing one of his converted spirituals that gives a strong message about the danger of drug abuse. The Gloryworks Experience is just that.
