I went from being one of the top students in my class to petty criminal and was later imprisoned for my deeds.   I redeemed myself while in prison and exited to become one of the more prominent voices of  The Civil Rights Era.   I was a strong voice for black nationalism and held the attention of many during The Civil Rights Era.  Some people referred to me as the angriest man in America.  The lack of rights in a land of free people can make you angry.

I spoke to African-Americans all over the country and challenged them to work with their hands and become productive in their communities.  I founded temples all over America for my organization where I taught them about black pride and self worth.  We opened stores and restaurants in our communities and became entrepreneurs in an attempt to take the project of restoring our communities in our own hands.

I was known for saying forward, frank, and much-needed words to a country who did not seem to know the true meaning of freedom.  In my forwardness, I spoke in mockery of  a well-loved American president and was excommunicated from the organization that I helped to build.   Do you know my name.
