I led the Montgomery bus boycott to success in 1955. I led several other marches and campaigns to bring equal rights to a disfranchised people. I challenged the conscious of a nation and spoke to a quarter of a million people on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. I am best known for my speech titled "I have a dream." I taught a violent nation the meaning of nonviolence protest and taught them how to peaceably redress government with their grievances as suggested by our Declaration of Independence. At the height of my career, I was assassinated but my work continues on. Who am I?
