I led the Montgomery bus boycott to success in 1955. I led several other marches and campaigns to bring equal rights to a disfranchised people. I challenged the conscious of a nation and spoke to a quarter of a million people on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. I am best known for my speech titled "I have a dream."
